Award winning fishing charter

For spectacular Alaska rainbow trout fishing, you must come with us!

Fisherman’s Choice Charters knows the best places for trout fishing in Alaska. Whether it is Alaska Rainbow Trout, Alaska Dolly Varden, or Alaska Arctic Grayling Trout, beginning during break-up in late April and ending at freeze-up in mid-October, we know where the trout are.

The name “Rainbow Trout” is an appropriate name for these beauties, and in Alaska’s waters their size and colors can be spectacular.  They do indeed come in every color and shade the rainbow itself has to offer.  Alaska rainbow trout can weigh up to 10 lbs!

We suggest that you bring your camera, to capture your once-in-a-lifetime Alaska trout fishing experience.

You may choose to have your Alaskan-caught trout mounted. However, by taking a picture of your catch, you will have the opportunity to practice catch and release, allowing these incredible creatures to reproduce so that future generations can also enjoy a memorable Alaska trout fishing experience!
Two other Alaskan favorites are the Dolly Varden (nicknamed “Dollies”) and Arctic Grayling. As the Alaska Arctic Grayling are of the salmon family, they are found and fished along with the Alaska Dolly Varden in the spawning waters of the salmon. The Dollies and Arctic Grayling feed on salmon eggs throughout the summer in preparation for the long winter. Graceful yet scrappy, these Alaska trout often weigh as much as 7 lbs.
