Directions from Anchorage To the Willow Creek State Launch
Approximately 90 minutes, This is also a campground
Exit Anchorage north on the Glenn Highway.
Travel approximately 35 miles and continue on the
Parks Highway towards Wasilla.
You will go through the town of Wasilla, Houston and into Willow.
1 mile past the Willow Community Center,
you will see a green sign on the right hand side that reads
Willow Creek Pkwy.
Turn left shortly after the sign onto Willow Creek Parkway.
You will travel approximately 4 miles and end up at the
Willow Creek Campground.
Just past the entrance, is a self pay parking station.
There is a $5 parking fee at the self pay unit (per vehicle, per day)
and $15 camping fee (per vehicle, per night).
Across from the self pay station is a dirt road.
Go down that dirt road until the end, about 500 feet.
We will meet you there. If you are going on the afternoon trip
and we are not there, we will be there shortly from our morning trip.
** You will need to bring along your fishing licenses, food & drink.
A king Salmon Stamp is only required when fishing through July 13.
